Kerry Park is a 1.6 acre park on the south slope of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, located at the corner of 2nd Avenue W. and W. Highland Drive. According to a plaque on a wall in the park, "Kerry Park was given to the City in 1927 by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sperry Kerry, Sr., so that all who stop here may enjoy this view," which encompasses downtown Seattle, Elliot Bay, the West Seattle peninsula, Bainbridge Island, and Mount Raineer.
It's one of my favorite places to go in Seattle, mostly because of it's breathtaking view but also because of the area. Queen Anne is one of the more nicer area's in Seattle and the architecture in the neighborhood really shows a person how simplicity really is bliss. Anways, I took this photo today while I was there and I really enjoy it. I hope you do as well!
